These are some of the genealogy societies that are of interest to me in doing my research. I thought they may be helpful to others in doing your own research. Genealogy Societies can be a big help to you in doing your research. They have many records pertaining to the area your ancestor lived in. The volunteers that run them are very knowledgeable in genealogy and the records they own or where you can go to find them. Most hold monthly meetings and will have guest speakers. You can learn more about genealogy by attending these monthly meetings, and you don’t necessarily have to become a member.
